Stream video from your PC to your Chumby using ORB software. Usage: Go to www.orb.com and follow account instructions. Put your login and password in the widget configuration screen. Set the widget to "forever" to watch longer videos. (donate)

My chumby is not able to play the Video files. It just says "Connecting to Media" and stays there forever. ORB Photos on chumby works fine !

On a non-english computer, the folders don't have the exact spelling (My Documents", or "My Videos". Dos it prevent ORB to work ? It seems tobe the case...

Fantastic widget! My only issue is that I have a LOT of videos that Orb knows about, so it's virtually impossible to find anything by just paging down though the list. Is there anyway that you could have a way to navigate Orb folders ? Or at the very least a search capability so I can narrow down my list to the files I'm interested... still though, great work!

This is the best widget by far. Thank you so much for making this for everyone to enjoy. This really unlocks a lot of possibilities for the Chumby.

markusck - I couldn't agree more, my wife thinks I am nuts watching my movies on this tiny thing when we have a regular tv...just too much fun. Thanks for the support!

Develephant, not to gush again and bow to your greatness, but this has changed my whole Chumby experience! Now I am watching movies in bed (and I took my TV out of the bedroom to avoid this)its just so cool. and now exploring online TV too! This is the future of entertainment, not stored locally, but streaming...Its just too cool..maybe I'm nuts, but I'm enjoying the heck out of this gizmo...

By far the BEST widget! It allows me to streat full length movies I have saved on my laptop, great to having playing while I work, good job.

stunick - I will certainly look into it, but last I heard the Chumby does not stream mp3s through Flash widgets, only on the Chumby hardware itself.

Widget has been updated. You can keep your video files in any of the folders ORB is monitoring. No special set-up required.

PTC - That seems strange. I am going to devise a better directory viewing method. But I'll take a look at the current issue.

The streamer app seems to be having problems finding my Orb video files. They're in C:\Documents and Settings\myusername\My Documents\My Videos\chumby . I tried specifying to Orb at the level of '...\My Documents', '...\My Videos' and '...\chumby' under the media tab of the configuration box. No go on any. I also removed other video directories that I'd had in Orb just in case there was a directory ordering issue - still no go.
