chumby industries sells two consumer devices: the chumby one and the original chumby, now called the "classic." Used anywhere in the home or office, both chumbys are streaming internet media players that deliver users' favorite parts of the internet in a friendly, always-on, always-fresh format. They serve as a window to a user’s “internet life,” but away from the desktop.
Both products offer access to free content and have a 3.5 in LCD touchscreen, multiple alarm settings, one-click control panel access, motion sensor, stereo headphone output, Wi-Fi connectivity (802.11 b/g), USB Ethernet compatibility, over-the-air software updates, and dimmable backlight.

Over 1,500 applications in more than 30 categories, ranging from news and entertainment to videos, music, sports and more are available for free from high profile media partners such as Pandora Radio, CBS, NPR, MTV Networks, The New York Times, The Weather Channel Interactive, and AOL's SHOUTcast. chumby also offers user-generated content as well as thousands of internet radio stations and the ability to share photos, e-cards and more with family and friends.
